Mr. Arup Bannerjee is an Advocate on Record (AOR) at the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India since 2006. He started practicing in the Supreme Court of India in 1998 and became a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association in 2001. During his early years of practice, he has been a junior to Late Mr. P.S. A law graduate from the Department of Law, University of Calcutta, one of top rankers in her batch, Ujjaini has an experience for more than five years in litigation before the High Court at Calcutta, she has been dealing extensively with matters related to Constitutional Law, Service Law, Family Law and Criminal Law. She extensively deals with economic offences which involve misappropriation of huge funds and matters pertaining to Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. Arjun Asthana leads the firm’s commercial dispute resolution and Criminal litigation team.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering and also holds a degree in law from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. Having done various courses from reputed institutions like Stanford University, University of London (OSE), University of Virginia, George Washington University and WIPO Academy, Arjun was made a Member of Editorial Board in International Organisation of Scientific Research and Development (IOSRD) in 2016.
